Joanne Duda provides defense management consulting services to contractors doing information technology business in the Dayton area. Her consulting services have included program management and business development support over the past five years.
Joanne focuses on providing her clients with the customer perspective. Having more than 33 years of government experience with the Air Force, she advises and also assists with writing and/or reviewing proposals. She emphasizes the need to understand the government’s requirements, the impacts of the government budget process on acquisition schedules and decisions, and the internal government sensitivities that should be factored into proposal development. Joanne also specializes in development of Strategic Plans and building your pipeline.
Joanne’s government experience with the Air Force spans both the information technology and financial management career fields. She began as a computer programmer for Air Force Logistics Command and then blended that technical background with budget and cost analysis support for the KC-10 program in the Aeronautical Systems Center. Joanne supported the Materiel Systems Group in many positions to include business management, systems engineering, and program management. She culminated her Air Force career with senior leadership positions as the Comptroller, Director of Software Information Solutions, and Transformation Officer in several information technology organizations.
